This workshop is intended to provide participants with a checklist of procedures, techniques, and responsibilities for developing student leaders through high and low ropes course activities. The workshop will provide participants with theoretical aspects of leadership development with direct hands-on experience participating in team building activities on the Millersville University ropes course. Workshop participants will be able to take learned skills from the workshop and apply them to small groups in a variety of settings. Recommended for educators grades 5-12 who want to become familiar with the implementation of a ropes program to develop teamwork and leadership skills in a classroom setting.
