Description:

With the advent of Web 2.0 applications, teachers have new opportunities for collaborating with one another, communicating with the community and educating students. The terms Web 2.0 and emergent technology refer to a host of online resources and applications that support sharing of information between users. The web has evolved from a series of static, isolated pages of information into an interactive, collaborative, social network of applications. This workshop provides educators with a comprehensive look at different emergent instructional technologies and how these advanced Web 2.0 applications can be used to promote student learning.
