The national science standards advocate scientific literacy for all students. What does this mean and how can it be achieved? This online workshop provides educators with an in-depth study of purpose/goals of the national science standards and details ways to implement these standards in the classroom. Participants will work extensively with the National and PA State Science Standards as they reflect on their own practice and endeavor to develop lessons that exemplify the goals of the science standards.
