Addresses major population health challenges both within the US and globablly and focuses on systemic barriers to addressing these challenges. Using an evidence-based practice approach and epidemiological principles learned in Population Health I, the course will focus on the strategies to address priority needs. Principles of patient and community engagement that can assist in coordination of care for improvement of health outcomes in various populations are emphasized. PREREQ: NURS881.
