Business Finance introduces students to basic financial concepts and their application to business situations. The course will develop an understanding of the methods used to analyze and manage the financial performance of a firm. Topics include: a review of accounting, financial ratio analysis, time value of money, asset valuation methods, fundamentals of capital budgeting, the relationship between risk and return and the cost of capital. Offered Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
