For many it is a playground. For others, it is the source of our water. For still others it represents a congested transportation corridor or the home of a business. For some, including the wildlife of the canyon, it is simply home. This interdisciplinary course will explore the history, ecology, and political/cultural factors at play in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The course will include short field trips, guest speakers, service projects, and in class discussions.
