Prerequisites: Sophomore standing This lecture-based course is designed to expose students to aspects of forensic investigations in a corporate environment. Students taking this course review the history of forensic science, the legal environment of investigations (including forensic psychology), and ethical considerations in forensic investigations. The course also explores the employee, supplier, and management frauds that are committed in organizations. The course includes a project that requires students to use the computer effectively and efficiently in investigations (an activity called forensic analytics), and ethical considerations in forensic report writing and forensic presentations.
