Prerequisites: AAV 252, AAV 253 3DGD introduces the history and current practice of packaging design and environmental graphics. There will be informative lectures on various industrial production standards, terminology, and philosophies, as well as the aesthetic aspects of branding & point of purchase designs. Creative assignments will focus on how image and text works differently in three dimensional surface and spatial structures. Brand extension and consistency will also be discussed.
