Prerequisite: MGT 201 or PSY 267 This course addresses the ways in which both tangible and intangible forms of compensation may be used to motivate and reward employee performance. Job analysis, job descriptions, and job evaluation will be used as the basis of compensable factors in designing an equitable pay structure. Discusses how to assess reward systems using criteria of equity and cost effectiveness and to assess and diagnose compensation issues and problems and develop appropriate solutions.
