Prerequisite: HES 260, reserved for Health and Physical Education Teacher candidates The programs of school and community health including their scopes, functions, organization, and administration, and their relationships to the needs of the total community are reviewed. Methodologies specific to K-12 health education content are a primary focus. Emphasis placed on successful planning, connection to AAHE/NJCCC standards, lesson implementation, and student learning.
