An introduction to spoken and written German, emphasizing the four skills of comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. It prepares student for situations which may be encountered in German-speaking countries. Visual media are routinely incorporated to enhance instruction. Oral Proficiency Class is required. Students with four or more years of high school study in German will not receive credit for 101.
