Prerequisite: ART 102 with a minimum C grade or permission of instructor Combining technical knowledge with practice, introduces the beginning watercolor painter to the materials and techniques of the past and present. The student studies various approaches to painting with watercolor, tempra, and wash and acquires a basic understanding of the proper selection of paper, brushes, paints and equipment. 1 lecture/4 studio hours
