A study of organic molecules, cells, tissues and organs for biology majors and general biology minors. Emphasis is placed on the principles which unify all living forms: structure, energetics, physiology, inheritance and development. May be used in partial fulfillment of the General Education Requirements in Natural Science. This course is required for biology majors and general biology minors including premedical and some other preprofessional students. Prerequisite: MATH 110 or placement higher than MATH 110 on the math placement examination.
