Description:

This course provides the future teacher with preparation for teaching in the content area of social studies in prekindergarten-4th grade. A variety of strategies and philosophies for teaching will be explored. Prerequisites: Educational psychology and requirements as mandated by Chapter 354. This course is part of a block of courses in the PreK-4 major. Field experience is a major component of the course. This course must be successfully completed prior to student teaching. Lab fee $65. Every semester.
