Description:

This course will introduce adult students to 1) the common crises that ministry leaders face as they work with people, and 2) practical approaches to ministering to people in crisis. In particular, this course will deal with biblical bereavement ministry in its various forms (violent death, expected death, and sudden unexpected death). Adult students will learn basic skills related to assessing crisis situations, including when to refer individuals to professional counselors.
