Description:
An introduction to curriculum resources focusing on what is critical for students to know and be able to do. Emphasis is on creating unity among the written, taught, and tested curricula. Those taking the course will become knowledgeable about and able to use the standards of the State of Pennsylvania and the National Council for the Teaching of Mathematics (NCTM) with regard to their own teaching of mathematics. Spring semester. Corequisites: EDU 380 and requirements as mandated by Chapter 354. Cross-listed as EDU 382.
