Description:
This course is designed to prepare students for the thinking and writing tasks required of a college student. Students may expect studies and experiences in the processes of expressive and academic writing and in the editorial conventions of Standard English: grammar, usage, punctuation, spelling, and citation. During the course students will explore, develop and strengthen critical thinking abilities. Students will plan, draft, read, and revise their work from other students, the textbook, and other sources. Students will use word processing and Internet technology to support and apply their learning.
