Examination of the health care practitioner's professional obligations, including responsibilities to the self, responsibilities to the profession/occupation, and responsibilities to the community. Designed to provide the final building blocks that enable graduates to apply these principles and meet these expectations. Discussions include current topics in surgical technology practice and professionals, resume writing and interview skills, robotics in the surgical setting, organ procurement and transplant, concepts of death and dying; all hazard preparedness, and health care structure and hierarchy. Course work includes resume writing and preparation for the national certification examination. (Formerly SGT225)
