This course includes terminology and technique in elementary ballet including alignment, barre, center work, basic enchainements, and room and body directions, with emphasis on developing the physical and expressive potential of the human body. The class will enable students to understand and synthesize` the kinesiological and anatomical, historical and theoretical and aesthetic of dance. General Education Performing Art. May be repeated for credit.
