This course is an exploration of video and projected design for the stage. The course will investigate the technical and engineering aspects of playback and projections as well as the design considerations within a production. Prerequisites: PROD 113, PROD 124, and PROD 227. Course Objectives Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to: (1) Identify copyright issues and free domain use. (2) Develop video content to be used on stage. (3) Design a video system with a playback device/software and display. (4) Know the types of data signals used commonly in projection design.
