An advanced level production assignment for theatre productions produced by The Pittsburgh Playhouse to further the skills learned in PROD 200 and PROD 201. Assignments are awarded at the discretion of the Theatre Production Unit and will increase in responsibility from previous assignments. Prerequisites: 200 Level Production Practicum Course. Course Objectives Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to: (1) Demonstrate specific and advanced skill and craft in their area of Theatre Production study. (2) Develop resources for a professional portfolio. (3) Use materials, equipment and techniques specific to theater professionals. (4) Develop time management skills in order to meet deadlines. (5) Formulate and share concepts and ideas on show production through proper inter/intradepartmental communication. (6) Instruct, supervise and manage a crew toward the completion of a given task.
