The students will be instructed on the respiratory laboratory equipment commonly encountered in the neonatal and pediatric environments. Students will be instructed and participate in a lab setting with emphasis on the skills related to capillary heel sampling, transcutaneous monitoring, apnea monitoring, oxyhoods, isolettes, and neonatal resuscitation. All lab techniques and concepts are in support of the materials presented in the neonatal and pediatric respiratory care I (RC 380) course
