This course is designed to provide the students with information about the anatomy and physiology of the cardiopulmonary system including the pulmonary system, circulatory system, oxygen transport, diffusion, applied physiology of gas laws, physical principals of gases found in the respiratory system and how they relate to other body systems. Students will be instructed on extensive respiratory physiologic considerations, including normal and abnormal lung alterations within cardiopulmonary diseases
