Focuses primarily on normal aspects of maternal and newborn care. Emphasis on normal patterns of growth and development. Common deviation from the normal are discussed. Clinical focus is on selected skills related to the care of mother, baby, children, and family in structured settings. In order to successfully pass this course, student must achieve a grade of "C" or better. Acceptance into one of the Nursing programs is required to take this course.
