Students will become familiar with a variety of customs they may encounter when providing healthcare support to patients and their family members. Students will explore their own attitudes toward a variety of cultures and their customs, and learn strategies to overcome stereotypical ideas. In order to successfully pass this course, student must achieve a grade of "C" or better, along with meeting the academic standards of the college.
