This course is designed to train allied health professionals in the skills necessary to ensure proper blood specimen collection. Participants will learn the techniques necessary to obtain a quality specimen for use in a laboratory setting or point of care testing environment. In order to successfully pass this course, student must achieve a grade of "C" or better, along with meeting the academic standards of the college. This course is for first or second year clinical allied health students.
