This course is designed for female students who are looking for a non-competitive, yet challenging venue to learn climbing skills. Students will engage in bouldering and roped climbing and instruction will be geared toward individual skill levels. Students will improve their level of climbing and gain an understanding of basic and advanced climbing techniques. Through their development as climbers, students will learn about safety, body movement, equipment, and teamwork. Female students of all skill levels are welcome to participate. This course can be used to fulfill the "outdoor skills" requirement for the outdoor leadership minor.
