This course studies comprehensive and critical readings, screenings, and exhibition visits surrounding the medium of photography. Emphasis is focused on the aesthetic and conceptual implications of current lens-based practices, particularly photography's relationship to contemporary art, culture, politics, commerce, science, history, and social concerns. Prerequisite: ART 3810. Art BA, Art BS, or Art BFA students only.
