Topics include mechanics, properties of matter, heat, sound, electricity and magnetism, light, and atomic and nuclear physics. Three hours lecture, three hours of laboratory weekly. Prerequisite: Passing score on Mathematics Placement Exam or Math 100 or successful completion of one college leve math course. Four semester hours.
