Utilizing a Dance Studies approach and focusing on current dance scholarship, the course emphasizes the study of movement as a window into larger cultural processes and historical frameworks. This course takes a broad interdisciplinary approach to dance scholarship, and serves as an ongoing forum for discussion on current topics and targeted areas of dance practice, research and scholarship.
