This two week rotation has two components. The first component provides the student with an experience in Shelter Medicine. Students will travel to ACCT in Philadelphia and spend four days participating in surgery clinics for shelter animals. The second component will provide students with experience in several of the specialty departments within the hospital including: oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology, the blood bank, exotics and the clinical lab. Participation in these specialties will vary based on caseload.
