The course will focuson clinical skills essential to the medical assistant. Students will prepare and maintain treatment areas and practice taking patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and EKG. In addition, basic laboratory testing in urinalysis and phlebotomy will be included instructed.
