In this course, students are introduced to the concept of the paragraph and advance to writing simple descriptive, narrative and chronological paragraphs. They continue to work on applying their knowledge to their writing at the sentence level. Students will work primarily with simple and compound sentences although one or two more complex structures will be introduced. The students will focus on adhering to the various steps in writing and sentence combining.
