This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and hands-on laboratory experience to perform local anesthesia injections in the dental hygiene clinical setting. The course will provide the student with the required didactic and laboratory knowledge to apply for the permit to administer anesthesia as part of the dental hygiene licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Student must achieve a C (75%) in course.Prerequisites: DH 200, DH 110, DH 111; Corequisites: DH 201, DH 202.
