This course is designed to provide the student with essential and detailed knowledge of the common diseases affecting companion and (selected) large animals. Students will focus on the recognition of diseases. This includes clinical signs, diagnostic tests, treatment modalities and appropriate client education. This course will emphasize dogs, cats, horses, and cattle but will also include other companion species-including birds.
