This lecture course is designed to introduce the veterinary technician student to hematology, cytology, and microbiology. The kinetics of the hematopoietic system are discussed with emphasis on normal smearsand cultures and common changes seen during disease states of domestic animals. Pre-requisites: Enrollment in the Veterinary Technology Program.
