CHFS 3300 - Child Development

A survey of the child's physical, mental, social, and emotional development from birth to adolescence. Emphasis is placed on the child's first six years and those factors which influence his/her growth. One hour lab per week in child development laboratory, to include directed observation of young children. Credit for both CHFS 3300 and FACS 3300 will not be awarded. Lab fee $5. Prerequisite Course: Junior classification or approval of department head.
