This studio art course will cover 2D- and 3D-level setting design for video games and animation. Students will learn tools and concerns as well as develop the skills used to create 2D and 3D game level designs by using architectural theory, concepts of critical path and flow, balancing, lighting, game play experience, and various storytelling techniques for level design. Prerequisites: ARTS 2344 or ARTS 2345 or instructor approval. Lab fee: $10
