Character design as a studio based art course that explores design principles to create visually appealing characters in various media, such as game design, animation, video and film, and educational media. Students will learn about character archetypes, body language, facial features, poses, model sheets, character environment, and character profiles. Prerequisites: ARTS 2344 or ARTS 2345 or instructor approval. Lab fee: $10
