Advanced studies of contemporary leadership issues; the history of leadership; leadership theories; leadership ethics and values; group dynamics; organizational behavior; methods of effective team building; community activism; the politics of gender, race, disability, and age; the dynamic of power; and the aspect of professional networking. Course will include in depth study of above mentioned topics, as well as extensive discussion and research of related leadership issues. Prerequisites: MGMT 3301 or approval of department head.
