An integrated clinical laboratory course designed to introduce the concepts of specimen tracking and processing using a laboratory information system, test result utilization, utilization review, and clinical research. Emphasis will be placed on workload organization; quality control evaluation accuracy; consistency; validity of results generated; and appropriate reporting of results. Lab fee $15.
