A study of the role of the military in American development with emphasis on the 20th century. The course will concentrate on the evolution of strategy and tactics, organizational change and civilian-military relations. Credit for both HIST 3316 and MLSC 3316 will not be awarded. Prerequisite: 6 hours HIST or department head approval.
