This course introduces yoga activities and knowledge to new learners. The history, language, philosophy, and health benefits of yoga will be presented using written materials and instruction. Physical activities will include how to prepare for excercise, use correct yoga alignment and poses, and control breathing and mediation to improve ones health when practiced daily.
