Description:
This course will incorporate classroom and hands-on practice as it relates to riding and care of the horse. Students will experience the day to day maintenance of a horse along with how to ride. Topics will include possible careers in the equine industry, farriery, tacking up, health care and feeding requirements. Guided practice sessions give opportunity to build confidence, and explore the horse rider relationship as well as other aspects of the equine world.
