Description:

(Writing Intensive Course). This course introduces students to the major genres of narrative fiction, poetry, and drama. It continues to develop the skills of writing, critical reading and research learned in HEN112 and HEN113 while focusing on the study of literature. It is therefore appropriate both for non-majors who are interested in literature, and for English majors who need to develop skills for the critical reading and analysis of literary texts.
