To help in-service teachers recognize and deal appropriatedly with the wide range of individual differences in reading which are exhibited by elementary pupils. Techniques and materials essential to the teaching of elementary grade reading skills in content subjects. Prerequisite: A course in the teaching of reading at the elementary/middle school level.
