This course is designed for persons who aspire the be school administrators and supervisors. It will attempt to clarify the meaning and concepts of curriculum theory. Contemporary curriculum problems will be analyzed form perspectives of existing societal forces, educational change agents and school administrators. This course will also analyze the various forces and beliefs that tend to oppose change , therefore making schools and their educational programs more conservative. Pre-Requisite: None OR Distance Learning version of XEA626 to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside of the classroom.
