This course explores how the elements of design, the principles of 2D and 3D composition, and musical structures impact dance. The focus will be on the following themes: unity, complexity, change and repeatability, speed and sustainability. These topics will be studied in an experiential fashion, leading to the creation of dance that is inspired by visual imagery and sound.
