Forms of corrosion including high temperature oxidation and biological effects. Corrosion monitoring and deterioration of polymers, concrete and advanced materials. Emphasis on materials Selection and corrosion control methods. PREREQ: CHEM103 and CHEM104, or CHEM107 and CHEM108, or equivalent, MSEG302 or permission of instructor. Physical chemistry helpful.
