This is an elective course for veterinary students and is a joint offering with Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine (WSU-CVM). Philosophy and history of methodological, ethical and political issues relevant to biomedical research using selected monographs and essays. This course is taught using distance education technology with lectures by faculty from WSU-CVM and USU-SVM. Prerequisite: Must be accepted into the veterinary medicine program Repeatable for credit Pass/Fail only
